BIOGRAPHY
Benjamin Salvatore is a visual artist working in painting and photography. He was born in Cologne, Germany and lives in Cape Town. Most of his paintings are created in oil, ink and acrylics on a 2 x 3 m frame, which is large enough to fully immerse himself and forge a strong connection with his work. Salvatore draws inspiration from abstract expressionist painters particularly Joan Mitchell, Emilio Vedova, Gerhard Richter and Franz Kline.
