BIOGRAPHY
Lucian Ercolani began his life in Italy, before moving to London – encouraged by his parents to seek better education opportunities. His love affair with Britain and his contribution to the region’s aestheticism is sought after to this day; particularly strengthening in the 1950s, post-war era. This is emphasised by the founding of his company, Ercol, in which his deliberate employment of skilled craftsman in East London sought to recognize England’s history of exceptional woodwork and manufacturing, with availing success until today.
