BIOGRAPHY


Yonela Makoba is an emerging South African artist ad multidisciplinary creative, active in the fields of photography as well as creative direction. Makoba’s series exhibitied at our exhibition are inspired by a Xhosa tea ritual during which female family members reflect on their maternal lineage. Makoba lives and works in Cape Town.
